Almaty Central Stadium

Almaty Central Stadium (or Ortalyk) – the main sports facility of the Southern Capital, built in 1958 and modernized in 2010. It is the home arena of training of FC "Kairat". Central Stadium can hold up to 24 thousand viewers. In 2012 he hosted the World Championship in hockey with a ball, sports competitions were held on alternate field. The stadium can be accessed from three sides – Satpayev street, Baitursynov street and Abai Avenue.
